Smart Living

Okay, here’s the situation.

If I wanna come back to Lawrence and live here once again, I will need to find an apartment, a loft, or a condo to fit my next local Lawrence style.

Here’s some of the choices that I’ve came up with on my list:

Now to start things off a bit, here’s my top ten places of where to live in Lawrence.

CAUTION: For your safety and not telling anyone yet, this will take more than a little while to do it. So proceed carefully.

#10: Hawks Pointe
What I like the best about Hawks Pointe is the balcony and the view up here. What’s best about it also is that inside these apartments there’s bedrooms, kitchen, and bathrooms. Oh, and I almost forgot, there’s a laundry room in here too. I’m not sure if there’s one in here though. Coincidence? Nope.

#9: The Frontier West Lawrence
If you’re into this apartment complex, then you’re in the right place for this one. This complex is gorgeous for its wonderful balconies to relax and look at the view of the town. It’s even got a saltwater pool, a 24-hour fitness center, and it’s got a washer and dryer, kitchens, huge walk-in closets, etc. And it’s best for it’s cable and internet. You know the motto saying, “Love Where You Live”.
P.S.  This is where my dad and I visited Nancy that month. Thanks, Nancy.

#8: 800 Lofts
Experience Lawrence The Right Way. That’s the motto, either way that’s fine. This apartment community located in downtown Lawrence is perfect for students, young professionals, or for families. There’s two bedroom options, a mix of stylish studio, and one bath in each apartment. There’s even shops and eateries to enjoy too. It says here that “800 Lofts are the perfect fit for those looking to be conveniently located and enjoy all that this exciting city has to offer. Shops, dining, and the Kansas river are all just a short walk away.”

#7: 901 Lofts (Formerly The Summit)
Located in Douglas County and the 66044 zip code, this apartment community was built in 2011 and has 7 stories and 55 units. If you’re looking for apartment to call your own, you’ve got it.

#6: Union Flats and Townhomes Apartments (Formerly Trailridge)
If you like swimming in the pool, then you’re kinda lucky. This complex has everything it can offer. There’s studios, junior one-bedrooms, two and three bedroom townhomes, full-equipped kitchens, a private patio/balcony, plus a fitness center, and a swimming pool to chill out. Life is better here.

#5: Legends Place Apartments
This is where students at KU make the most of their living experience. It’s located near the University of Kansas and offers various spacious homes. It’s got plenty of 2-4 bedroom floor plan options. In this apartment complex, there’s a swimming pool with a hot tub in it outside.

#4: The Links at Kansas I/II
For an apartment home that fits the lifestyle, The Links is the answer. It’s got everything. So top me if you heard me on this before. 'It's got everything an apartment complex has to offer' (Yada yada yada.) Incredible features and excellent location make The Links at Kansas an incomparable place to call home.

#3: Fox Run Apartments
This place focuses on the needs and helps people find the perfect place. People can experience everything Lawrence has to offer just minutes away including the KU Campus and I-70. In short, it's located close to Free State High School. This place has renovated apartment homes with new stainless appliances, white cabinetry, lighting, and hardwood-style flooring in select homes, choosing from 1, 2, or 3-bedroom apartment homes featuring open floor plans, a washer and dryer, and private outdoor space. It also include a relaxing swimming pool and spa, fitness center, gift-wrapping station, and a dog park. Get it?

#2: The Oread Apartment Buildings
Built in 1920 Oread offers a unique student living environment in a historic setting. Wood floors, cast iron tubs and historic interiors. Oread offers a quaint, cozy atmosphere with small studio, large studio and 1 bedroom homes at resonable rates. With gas and water paid you can’t beat it. Close enough to walk to Kansas University.

And now, the number one apartment complex in Lawrence is...

#1: HighPointe Apartments
HighPointe is where people can choose from a number of innovatively designed apartment homes. Surrounded by luxurious spaces, sunlight, and wonderful views, you'll find unlimited possibilities to reflect your lifestyle. And it's located at 6th Street and Iowa close to downtown Lawrence.

So there you have it. The top ten apartments of my choice in Lawrence.

If you like my top ten list, let me know on the comments and tell us what you think. (I pick the Frontier kind.) And remember that this is only an idea to talk about. Go crazy and have fun with it.

And now, back to the commercials.
